How
- Apply with the HD Sponge (or other soft sponges) or the Foundation Brush – Large – 108 or the Concealer Brush – Medium – 176 (or other nylon brushes). Give a velvety finish to the skin with the HD Powder.
- Do not use a sponge that is too absorbent. Only a small amount of foundation is necessary to even out the skin tone.
- Thanks to its light, fluid texture, the HD Foundation can be applied with an air brush.

My Two Pennies Worth
- Mine is #128 Almond which is for medium skin with beige undertones. It matches my skin colour very well.
- It feels lightweight on the skin which I like.
- It gives light coverage hence it won’t cover dark spots. It does cover redness but should apply a bit thicker. It is buildable though.
- It creates dewy finish. So make sure to set it with powder for oily skin.
- It gives beautiful glow to the skin. So when you set it with powder, leave the area above the cheeks. It will create dimension to your face and not flat looking.
- It shows dry patches. So make sure to moisturize the skin first.
- I’ve applied it with fingers and sponge. I don’t like using fingers. It made the foundation got into my pores, but one pump was enough to cover my whole face down to the neck. I prefer using sponge because it created a smooth result and didn’t get into the pores. However, it did absorb the product and one pump was not enough for the whole face.
- I do not recommend using damp sponge with this foundation. It lightens out the foundation which makes the coverage is even lesser.
- This foundation oxidizes on me because my skin is super oily, but primer does help making it to stay longer.
- I can’t use this foundation daily because it breaks me out if I do so.
- Its plastic packaging is lightweight which makes it practical to carry around.
Will I Repurchase?
Unfortunately, no.
Should You Try?
- If you have a good skin to start with, you definitely want to try this foundation. It will give you a beautiful glowing skin =)
- If you do want to try but have some dark spots to cover, no worry, you just need to add concealer on top of it.
